Prohibited Items & Illegal Activity Policy

Effective Date: May 2026

This Prohibited Items & Illegal Activity Policy forms part of the Loadster Terms of Service, Driver Agreement, Customer Agreement, Claims & Cargo Damage Policy, Payment Policy, Privacy Policy, and all other Platform policies.

All Users must comply with this Policy at all times. Violation of this Policy may result in account suspension, account termination, payment holds, payout holds, permanent bans, investigation, preservation of evidence, law-enforcement referrals, civil liability, criminal liability, and any other remedies available under applicable law.

1. Purpose

Loadster is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and trustworthy marketplace. The Platform may not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, dangerous, deceptive, exploitative, or criminal purposes.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that all activities conducted through the Platform comply with applicable laws and regulations.

2. Zero-Tolerance Activities

Loadster maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding:

  • Human trafficking
  • Child trafficking
  • Child exploitation
  • Sexual exploitation of minors
  • Forced labor
  • Human slavery
  • Labor trafficking
  • Kidnapping
  • Smuggling of persons
  • Organized criminal activity
  • Terrorism-related activity
  • Money laundering
  • Identity theft
  • Fraud schemes
  • Criminal enterprises

Any User reasonably suspected of participating in such conduct may be immediately suspended or permanently removed from the Platform without prior notice.

3. Human Trafficking & Child Safety

Under no circumstances may the Platform be used to facilitate, coordinate, arrange, support, conceal, recruit, transfer, transport, harbor, or otherwise participate in:

  • Human trafficking
  • Child trafficking
  • Child exploitation
  • Sexual exploitation
  • Forced labor
  • Involuntary servitude
  • Kidnapping
  • Criminal confinement
  • Smuggling of persons

Loadster is intended solely for lawful transportation of lawful property and goods. The Platform may not be used to transport, conceal, coordinate, arrange, or facilitate transportation of persons.

Loadster reserves the right to immediately suspend accounts, preserve records, restrict transactions, and cooperate with law enforcement regarding suspected violations.

4. Prohibited Cargo

The following categories of cargo are prohibited unless expressly permitted by applicable law and Platform policies:

Illegal Drugs & Controlled Substances

  • Illegal narcotics
  • Controlled substances transported unlawfully
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Synthetic drugs
  • Unlawful cannabis products

Stolen & Fraudulent Property

  • Stolen property
  • Fraudulently obtained goods
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Pirated materials
  • Forged documents
  • Fraudulent identification documents

Explosives & Dangerous Devices

  • Explosives
  • Bomb-making materials
  • Destructive devices
  • Military ordnance
  • Illegal fireworks

Hazardous Materials

  • Toxic chemicals
  • Corrosive substances
  • Radioactive materials
  • Biological hazards
  • Infectious materials
  • Hazardous waste

Illegal Weapons

  • Weapons prohibited by law
  • Illegal firearm modifications
  • Illegal firearm components
  • Illegal ammunition

Wildlife & Environmental Violations

  • Illegally obtained wildlife
  • Protected species transported unlawfully
  • Illegal animal products
  • Environmental contraband

5. Fraudulent Activity

Users may not engage in:

  • Payment fraud
  • Chargeback fraud
  • Identity fraud
  • Insurance fraud
  • Cargo fraud
  • False claims
  • False theft reports
  • False damage reports
  • Misrepresentation of cargo
  • Misrepresentation of identity
  • Bid manipulation
  • Account sharing

6. Suspicious Activity

Loadster reserves the right, but not the obligation, to investigate activity that reasonably appears suspicious, deceptive, unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or inconsistent with normal Platform usage.

Examples include unusual transaction patterns, repeated chargebacks, identity discrepancies, cargo misrepresentation, repeated policy violations, account circumvention attempts, and reports from Users, payment processors, or law-enforcement agencies.

7. Investigations

Loadster may investigate any User, account, transaction, Job, Bid, cargo description, payment, payout, communication, photograph, video, document, claim, or activity.

Users shall cooperate with reasonable investigations. Failure to cooperate may result in enforcement action.

8. Evidence Preservation

Loadster may preserve records including:

  • Messages
  • Communications
  • Photographs
  • Videos
  • Job records
  • Bid records
  • Payment records
  • Identity verification records
  • Account records
  • Device information
  • IP address information
  • Location information where available

Such information may be retained for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, litigation defense, insurance matters, regulatory compliance, law-enforcement cooperation, and platform security.

9. Law Enforcement Cooperation

Loadster reserves the right to cooperate fully with:

  • Federal authorities
  • State authorities
  • Local authorities
  • Regulatory agencies
  • Courts
  • Arbitrators
  • Financial institutions
  • Insurance providers

Loadster may disclose information where permitted or required by law and may report suspected criminal activity without prior notice.

10. Payment Holds & Transaction Restrictions

Where permitted by law, Loadster may delay payouts, hold funds, restrict transactions, reverse transactions, suspend payment activity, or cancel transactions when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, theft, criminal activity, safety concerns, regulatory matters, or policy violations.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

Loadster may immediately suspend, restrict, investigate, terminate, or permanently ban Users, accounts, devices, payment methods, vehicles, businesses, or related entities associated with violations or suspected violations of this Policy.

Prior notice is not required.

12. Account Circumvention

Users whose accounts have been restricted, suspended, or terminated may not create new accounts without written authorization from Loadster.

Loadster may identify related accounts through email addresses, telephone numbers, payment methods, devices, vehicle information, business affiliations, government-issued identification, and IP addresses.

13. No Duty to Monitor

Loadster reserves the right, but assumes no obligation, to monitor Platform activity.

Failure to detect, prevent, investigate, report, or respond to prohibited activity shall not create liability on the part of Loadster.

14. Reservation of Rights

Loadster reserves all rights available under applicable law and Platform policies.

Loadster may take any action reasonably necessary to protect Users, the public, the Platform, legal compliance, operational integrity, business interests, safety, and reputation.
